Four age bands
The right band for your child's age
One spine from 6 to 17. Children move up by readiness, not just by birthday, and every band ends each term with something made and shown.
Each band in brief
Ages 6–8 · Grades 1–3 · 60-minute sessions · groups of 6–8
Program floor robots and create first stories and games in ScratchJr
Explorers is where six-to-eight-year-olds discover that machines follow rules, that computers can learn from examples, and that they can make a machine do what they imagine. Half of every session is away from screens.
What they make
- A floor-robot treasure map with a program written on paper and tested on the floor.
- A three-page animated ScratchJr story with their own voice recordings.
- An interactive scene where characters react to taps and to each other.
A story that talks back
Ages 9–11 · Grades 4–6 · 90-minute sessions · groups of 8–10
Build games in Scratch and train their first AI models
Makers is where nine-to-eleven-year-olds go from playing games to making them, and then teach a computer to see, hear and react inside the games they built. They train real machine-learning models on their own gestures and sounds, and learn why a model gets things wrong.
What they make
- A complete arcade game with score, lives, enemies and levels, published to the class studio.
- A machine-learning model trained on their own gestures that controls that game.
- A voice- or sound-controlled character.
An arcade game you control with a gesture
Ages 12–14 · Grades 7–9 · 120-minute sessions · groups of 8–10
Learn Python and build their first AI-powered app
Builders is where twelve-to-fourteen-year-olds move from blocks to real code. They learn Python properly, build their first AI-powered application on a safe, supervised platform, publish a portfolio site, and learn to judge what an AI tells them, including code it writes.
What they make
- A text adventure and a quiz app in Python.
- A chatbot with a personality and guardrails, running on the Aivy sandbox, then wrapped in a web app.
- A published portfolio site.

Ages 15–17 · Grades 10–12 · 150-minute sessions · groups of 6–8
Design, build and launch a real AI product
Studio is where fifteen-to-seventeen-year-olds build and ship a real AI product each term, the way a small startup team would: interviews, scope, sprints, testing, launch, demo. They use professional tools through Aivy's supervised platform, and leave with a shipped product and a written case study for university applications.
What they make
- A deployed AI product (a web app or an automation) with real users and analytics.
- A README, a system card and a case study written for a portfolio.
- A Demo Day pitch delivered to parents, mentors and invited founders.

Levels are terms
One level is one 10-week term. One session a week, and a showcase for families at the end of every term.
Every band has three levels, so a child can complete a band in a school year.
Placement is by readiness, not just by birthday. A child with some experience can take a short placement session, and each band's page says what Level 1 assumes.
