About Aivy Academy
Why Aivy exists
Children already use AI. We teach them to understand it, train it and build with it, in small groups, by making real things.
The idea
Coding and AI as one subject. Coding is how children make their ideas real. AI is what they learn to understand, train and build with. The balance shifts with age: Explorers mostly build and meet AI ideas through play, while Studio spends most of the term building with real AI tools.
Making, not consuming. Children come to Aivy to make things: programs for floor robots, games, their own AI models, apps. Not anti-tech, pro-connection: coached, social, making-focused screen time.
Small groups, real things. Groups are small, 6 to 10 children, with two adults in every room. Every term ends with a showcase: real things, shown to real people.

Where we are
- Private pilot sessions are under way.
- Our first public activity is free Open Build sessions and a waitlist for founding families.
- A winter holiday camp and the first terms in January 2027 are the working plan. Dates coming soon.
- Sessions will run at venues across Dubai, confirmed per term.

The founder
Beshr Roustom
Founder
Beshr Roustom is the founder of Aivy Academy and the founder and CEO of Arete Solutions, a custom software studio in Dubai. He has spent about ten years building software, including as CTO of the Enterprise AI division at Yango, and holds a BEng in Software Engineering from Carleton University in Canada. He teaches the first Aivy cohorts himself.
Built by Arete Solutions
Aivy is built by Arete Solutions FZCO, a Dubai software studio that builds AI products for a living. The same people build the academy's tools, including the supervised AI sandbox.
