Robot Week
Be the robot, program the robot, parade the robot.
Five mornings of floor robots, ScratchJr stories and treasure maps, with screens never more than half the day, ending in a Robot Parade for parents.
- Day 1Be the Robot. Robot role-play and floor-robot mazes. AI Moment: senses and sensors. Afternoon: a robot obstacle course.
- Day 2Hello ScratchJr. First characters, the green flag and loops. AI Moment: patterns. Afternoon: a dance-party showcase.
- Day 3Story Time. A three-page animated story with their own voice recordings. AI Moment: teach the computer. Afternoon: a sound hunt.
- Day 4Events and treasure maps. Characters that react, and a treasure map programmed on paper and run on the floor. AI Moment: fair or unfair.
- Day 5Rehearsal and Robot Parade. A rehearsal morning, then the Robot Parade at 13:00 for parents, with badges for everyone.
Three build blocks of 40 to 45 minutes, separated by a snack, outdoor play and a story. An AI Moment opens each day: one idea, met through play. Screens never exceed half the day.
Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 14:00. Robot Parade on Friday at 13:00. Dates coming soon.
AED 1,350 per week, VAT included
AI Game Jam
Build an arcade game, then teach a computer to play it with you.
A playable game by Monday afternoon, a model trained on their own gestures by Wednesday, and a public arcade on Friday where parents play and children explain the AI.
- Day 1Scratch bootcamp. From a blank project to a playable maze. AI Moment: what is AI, really? Afternoon: a playtest round.
- Day 2Enemies, score and clones. Loops, conditions, variables and clones make the game feel complete. AI Moment: rules or learning. Afternoon: pixel-art sprites.
- Day 3Train a model. A model trained on their own gestures, then wired in to control the game. AI Moment: training, testing and the bias fix.
- Day 4Sound controls and polish. A sound- or voice-triggered power-up, a start screen, and an honest model card. AI Moment: the ethics game show.
- Day 5Trailers and the Makers Fair. Game trailers in the morning, then the Makers Fair arcade at 13:00 for parents, with badges.
Three 45-minute build blocks, a movement break and lunch. An AI Moment opens each day. Playtesting is a protocol: two minutes of play, one confusing thing, one fun thing, two fixes.
Also runs as Block Worlds and Machines Week: The same week with the game built in a block-building world: logic circuits, builds, and events triggered by a small programmable board.
Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 14:00. Makers Fair on Friday at 13:00. Dates coming soon.
AED 1,350 per week, VAT included
Build-an-App Week
From a first line of Python to a hosted AI app in five days.
Python on Monday and Tuesday, an AI chatbot with a personality and guardrails on Wednesday and Thursday, and a launch for parents on Friday.
- Day 1Hello Python. Print, input, variables and decisions, ending in a quiz app. AI Moment: how chatbots work.
- Day 2Loops, lists and functions. A text adventure built from rooms, an inventory and a game loop. AI Moment: the hallucination lab.
- Day 3A first AI call. A bot with a personality, running on Aivy's supervised sandbox, and the guardrails that keep it in its lane. AI Moment: designed to feel human.
- Day 4In the browser. The bot wrapped in a web app, a bias test, and a portfolio page. AI Moment: privacy and what leaves your laptop.
- Day 5Polish and launch. A mini Code Sense Check, then the launch at 13:00 for parents.
Three 50-minute build blocks, a break and lunch. An AI Moment opens each day, and every one includes a check: verify, test, compare. Students bring their own laptop; we can lend one.
Also runs as Game Dev Week: The same week building a 2D game with an AI-driven enemy in a free, open-source game engine.
Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 14:00. Launch on Friday at 13:00. Dates coming soon.
AED 1,650 per week, VAT included
Startup Week
One product, five days, real users by Friday.
Teams of two find a real problem on Monday, ship a working AI product by Thursday, and pitch it on Friday to parents and invited guests.
- Day 1Problem and scope. User interviews, a first version scoped to one flow, the repository and a first working call to a model through Aivy's sandbox.
- Day 2Core feature. The main flow working end to end, with prompt tests. AI Moment: how language models work.
- Day 3Grounding and structure. Retrieval over real documents and structured output, and a local-versus-cloud comparison on cost, speed and privacy. AI Moment: the evaluation rubric.
- Day 4Automation and deploy. An agent or automation step with a human approval, guardrails, and a deployment with analytics. AI Moment: agent safety.
- Day 5Polish and pitch. A case study, a rehearsal, and five-minute pitches at 13:00 for parents and guests.
Stand-ups, sprint boards and demos: the week runs like a studio, not a class. Every line that ships must be explained by the person who shipped it. Students bring their own laptop; we can lend one.
Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 14:00. Pitch Day on Friday at 13:00. Dates coming soon.
